Head of Psychiatry

Dr. Abdul Graduated from Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye, Nigeria. Shortly after completing his undergraduate Medical training at the Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences, Sagamu , Nigeria and his Internship at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria in 2002, he proceeded to the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom where he trained at the prestigious post graduate Psychiatry Residency program of the RCSI, gaining extensive clinical and academic experiences in multiple University Teaching and Community hospitals both in Ireland and United Kingdom and obtaining the Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrist, United Kingdom ( MRCPsych, UK) in 2006.

Seeking to broaden his horizon and knowledge in the field of Neurology and Psychiatry, he proceeded to the United States of America and underwent further Post graduate Residency training at the Neurological Institute of the world renowned Cleveland Clinic , Ohio. He obtained several awards and publications in addition to being a Chief Resident at the Cleveland Clinic. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

He has special interest and extensive experience in Telemedicine as a means of expanding quality and cost effective healthcare service provision to rural and medically underserved areas and a vision to provide world class healthcare delivery from the developed world to sub-Saharan Africa using modern innovations in Technology.
