Business Development Director

Ndukwe Akwiwu graduated in 1995, as an Electrical Engineer from the University of London (QMW). He obtained an MBA from the Middlesex University, London in 1997.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the operations and management of dynamic start-up companies engaged in engineering, procurement and technical services to the oil and gas industry. He is a highly motivated and committed individual with sound business and strategic skills.

He was presently the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Hyderco UK Ltd (HUK) an procurement expediting and logistics company based in the UK which has been in operation since 1993. He has held this position since 2001. HUK serves major EPC contractors operating in Nigeria as well as the IOCs through a host of independent local associates.

He is also the International Business Development Director for Hyprops Nigeria Ltd (HNL) an engineering, procurement and technical services company serving the Nigerian oil and gas industry since 1997. He is also the International Business Development Director for ENG Rypac Ltd (ERL), which provides, project management services, subsea cable lay, offshore surveys, corrosion control services, facilities maintenance and scaffolding services.

To date both HNL & ERL are providing services to clients such as Esso Exploration and Production Company Ltd, Total Exploration and Production (Total E&P), Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigerian Ltd (SPDC), Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO), Nigerian Agip Oil Company Ltd (NAOC), Addax Exploration Nigeria Ltd, Chevron Nigeria Ltd (CNL) and Mobil Producing Nigeria Unltd (MPN).

Ndukwe Akwiwu is also a Director of Oceaneering Services Nigeria Ltd (OSNL) a joint venture with Oceaneering International of the USA, the world’s leader in the provision of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). Hyprops Nigeria Ltd has 40% equity in OSNL.
