DR. CHINEDU ANOSIKE

Chief of Radiology

Dr Anosike is a Consultant Radiologist working in Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Trust in the North of England. His subspecialty interests are Gastrointestinal and Abdominal radiology, Uroradiology and Cardiac CT.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the College of Medicine and Surgery, University of Port Harcourt Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Medical Imaging from the University of Leeds. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists United Kingdom and a member of the British and European Societies of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology. He is also a member of the Radiology Society of North America.

Dr Anosike is the Royal College of Radiology clinical tutor for Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Trust and involved in the training of Specialty Registrars towards obtaining the FRCR qualification. He was recently nominated by the Royal College of Radiologist as one of the top 5 Radiology trainers in the United Kingdom for 2017/2018. He has a published preparatory book for the FRCR 2a exams.

Dr Anosike is passionate about the delivery of healthcare particularly to the rural communities in South East Nigeria and continues to be involved in medical missions to these communities.

He is currently exploring opportunities to collaborate with some Teaching Hospitals in South East Nigeria to support the delivery of training Radiology Registrars.
