DR. WILLIAM EGBUNA

Director of Medical Services

Dr William Egbuna is a 1997 Medical graduate of the Jos university teaching hospital Plateau state Nigeria. After his internship at the Lagos university teaching hospital he moved to the UK to pursue a post graduate   career in Psychiatry. His core training took place in Cambridge and he subsequently proceeded to Greenwich London where he sub-specialized in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has been working in different settings across the UK as a Consultant within the National Health Service since 2011 and currently resides in the greater London area.

Dr Egbuna’s extensive and direct experience gained within the NHS in the United Kingdom has helped fuel his passion to contribute towards the development and delivery of high standard of Medical care in Nigeria and Sub Sahara Africa across all specialties. Dr Egbuna in addition to being an experienced clinician has also acquired a comprehensive understanding of organizational and administrative aspects of Healthcare delivery derived from his experiences within the NHS and private sector. Working within a diverse population in the UK has also enhanced his awareness of the importance of Healthcare provision being responsive to cultural sensitivities and the need to tailor services accordingly. He believes in a holistic approach to Medicine and is open to alternative treatment modalities.

Dr Egbuna currently sits on the boards of Hygrid integrated Solutions, a company involved in  Health information technology and Futsal Nigeria which is a franchise of Futsal global a company involved in the promotion of five a side football worldwide. He is also an avid Tennis and Chess player.
