Emergency Medicine

Dr Uchenna Ojiaku is the Founder and CEO of Prescient Health Care PLLC.  A graduate of the prestigious Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C., he is board certified in emergency medicine with specialty expertise in critical care.

Dr Ojiaku obtained an MBA in health care management from the University of Texas, Dallas and has been engaged in health care entrepreneurship for over a decade at various levels. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.

He founded San Simeon EMS, a critical care/ICU ambulance service that served South West Texas communities. In addition, he cofounded Quality Emergency Services, PLLC – an emergency medicine physician management company with expertise in developing, training and operating health care facilities for their clients. QES actively managed 5 facilities across the state of Texas.

He is also cofounder of Gramercy Emergency Physicians, PLLC. This health care management company was a comprehensive inhouse full service operation involved in health care real estate acquisition, facility design, medical equipment procurement and installation as well as physician recruitment, training and retention.

Dr Ojiaku has extensive clinical experience as well serving as medical director for several emergency departments in which he played key roles in the directional strategy of the health care facility.  He is well traveled and understands the challenges of developing health care infrastructure especially in the developing world.
