MR. IGO WORDU

Director of Big Data

Mr. Igo Wordu brings a combined 20 years of professional experience in various industries including the US Navy to Information Technology consulting with Deloitte, LLC.- a professional consulting firm with over 100 thousand consultants globally, and currently in the oil and gas industry where he works as a Big Data Consultant for Marathon Oil.

Prior to his current role as a Big Data consultant at Marathon Oil, Mr. Wordu served in the U.S Navy from 1999 – 2009 as a Public Affairs Specialist. Upon leaving active duty service, he worked briefly as a diplomatic intern for the U.S Mission to the United Nations, New York where he supported the U.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

He holds a B.Sc. in Criminal Justice from University of Maryland University College. He also holds M.A in Legal and Ethical Studies from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Wordu is currently a doctoral candidate for Law and Policy at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
